Hotel Life

Hola folks,

After three grueling moving days, I've been the least motivated person in the world. And definitely one of most "in pain" people too. As a result, there hasn't been a whole lot going on here. Not that there is tons to do when you are living in a hotel room, literally. I never thought we would ever actually be homeless, let alone intentionally.

I went for a short run this morning, only to find out that my legs have not yet fully recovered from moving heavy boxes and furniture up and down stairs only a trillion times this weekend. It felt like I was running through cement.

On the plus side, we have found a place to go swimming. The one pond that we had found only allows you to swim inside the swimming area, which only goes out about five feet. The second pound has a much larger swimming area and does allow for swimming outside of the swimming zone. We're going to attempt to try it out tomorrow depending on how much money we have left after dinner. We're running kinda low on monies until hubby gets paid again on Friday.

Other than that, I've been spending a lot of time curled up on the hotel bed and recovering from the move. Thank goodness for America's Next Top Model marathons and Shark Week. There is also a mall conveniently located across the street from our hotel. However, I have already gone twice in the past two days, so I have a feeling this is going to get not so exciting quick.
