Famous Friday

Royals:
The British are here!!! I'm probably the only person this side of the pond who is excessively excited about this. I adore Kate. She is the cutest thing ever and makes a wonderful Duchess. And who doesn't love, love, LOVE her clothes. I definitely wouldn't mind having her wardrobe...or personal shopper. I don't think it hurts that she wears a lot of blue, my favorite color. If its blue, it must be cute, right? I follow a fashion blog and the writer said that if you have a hard time putting together outfits (which I do), find pictures of outfits you like, whether it be online, in magazines, etc. and go to the store to find either the exact clothes (which is usually expensive) or go to your favorite stores, like Forever 21, Gap, etc. (I like outlet stores...get extra discounts) and find something similar. Sounds like a good idea. I haven't tried it yet, but I think Kate's clothes would make a good blueprint for my first attempt(s).

I want her dress...and clutch...and the nude pumps (not seen here)

Josh Duhamel:
I've always been neither here nor there about Josh Duhamel. He'll always be Fergie's husband to me. But he was on Live with Regis and Kelly (one of my guilty pleasures) this morning and he was so cute. I don't mean his hair looked better than usual. He was talking about his hometown of Minot, North Dakota and about the flooding that is occurring there right now. It affected him so much, he even started crying. A man that cries! Every girl's dream! Fergie is a lucky woman. He said he saw a picture of the house he grew up in and its completely under water. How sad. I can't even imagine.
Not his house...I don't think
Holiday Weekend:
Happy Canada Day to all of my Canadian readers! And Happy 4th of July weekend to all of you crazy fellow Americans! Does anybody have big plans for the weekend? The hubby and I have a 66mi bike ride planned for Saturday morning and whale watching Saturday evening. NBD (no big deal)! We got a Groupon (or something similar from a site like Groupon) for half off of whale watching so we're going Saturday night. I have a cute outfit picked out even. Side note: If you don't follow Groupon, Living Social, Buy With Me, etc. you should. You can get huge discounts on restaurants, activities (like whale watching or tours), spa and salon treatments, etc. Its like buying a gift certificate, only you don't pay full price. They usually are around 50% off. For example, the whale watching tickets cost $40, but we paid $20 a piece through the discount website.
Side note over, Sunday morning I have a 12 mile run planned. Then we are headed down to Foxboro for packet pickup for the race hubby is doing on Monday. They have an expo as well, so we'll probably spend some time hanging out there.
Like I said, Monday morning hubby has a 10K race. We haven't really given much thought to the rest of the day yet, but we'll probably try to squeeze in somewhere to watch the Boston fireworks that night.

Fist Pump Friday:
"For all we know, we might not get tomorrow..."
